The foley artist’s work for this production was quite a challenge since it did not serve any direct sound and it wanted to transmit an atmosphere of hyperreality in which everything had to sound natural. Footsteps of the pigs, of the dogs, of Horacio’s, and overall, all the sounds that had not been picked up at the locations.

Horacio Deluca, 73, returned to the countryside after a wandering life and is now alone, without a family, taking care of his small and precarious farm. He spends his days between hard work, the company of his dogs and the vastness of the pampa, a hazy and hungry pampa that he explores with a mixture of fascination and grief.
